Vacancy | R&D Mechanical Engineer | Space XYZ

At Space XYZ, we are searching for an R&D Mechanical Engineer to support our mission: converting metal waste into high-quality raw materials for metal printing processes. Does this position align with your expertise? Keep reading!

We (Space XYZ) are seeking an R&D Mechanical Engineer to expand and strengthen our team. We are an innovative start-up located at Brainport Industries Campus (BIC) in Eindhoven. With a mission to bridge the gap between waste products and raw materials, we develop equipment that enables the transformation of metal waste on a small scale into high-quality raw materials for metal printing processes. This initiative turns scrap metal into a valuable resource for new products, allowing companies to become self-sufficient in their metal needs. The technology (gas atomization) for manufacturing metal powders is being developed by Space XYZ in collaboration with TU Eindhoven and TU Delft. This development is part of the growth fund ‘Growing with Green Steel’. The equipment is independently developed by Space XYZ.

The ‘Powder on demand module’ will be developed, built, and marketed by Space XYZ. It is still a small company with a dynamic work environment in a high-tech location, knowing that it is supported by Royal Kaak.
